We are seeking a passionate and result-oriented SEO Specialist to play a crucial role in driving organic growth and visibility for xLoop. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies encompassing on-page, off-page, and technical optimization. You will collaborate closely with our development and content teams to ensure our website ranks prominently on major search engines, delivers an exceptional user experience, and stays ahead of the curve in the evolving search landscape. You are a resourceful problem-solver with a deep understanding of SEO best practices and a proactive approach to staying informed about the latest industry trends.

Description

  • On-Page Optimization: Conduct thorough keyword research and implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headings, content optimization, internal linking, and image optimization, to improve search engine rankings.
  • Technical SEO: Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, ensuring website crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall website health. 
  • Off-Page Optimization: Develop and execute effective off-page strategies, including link building, guest posting, and online reputation management, to build domain authority and increase organic visibility.
  • Content Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to provide SEO guidance for the creation of high-quality, relevant, and engaging on-site content that targets relevant keywords and user intent. 
  • Search Engine Responsiveness & User Friendliness: Ensure the website is responsive across all devices and provides an optimal user experience, contributing to improved rankings and reduced bounce rates.
  • Semantic & Voice Search Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize content for semantic search and voice search queries. 
  • AI Platform Optimization: Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Perplexity, and implement strategies to optimize content for visibility within these platforms. 
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, identifying trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the overall SEO strategy, aligning it with business goals and adapting to changes in the search engine landscape.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and troubleshoot SEO-related issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Staying Current: Continuously research and stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles. 
  • Proven experience in keyword research, link building, and content optimization. 
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of website architecture, mobile responsiveness, and user experience principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics is a plus.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach with a strong desire to learn and adapt.

Bonus Points

  • 1 Experience with international SEO.
  •  Familiarity with SEO for e-commerce platforms.
  •  Experience with video SEO and podcast SEO.
